Pirates of the Caribbean 4 ‘Fans First Event’ Video Coverage Ahoy

Pirates Of The Caribbean 4 Pirates Fans First

“Yo ho, Yo ho, it’s a Screen Rant life for me!” is what all the Swashbucklers said at the Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides “Pirates Fans First!” event at AMC’s Downtown Disney Theater in Disneyland earlier this week.

We arrived at the event at 5:30 in the morning with all the other bleary eyed, but devoted, Captain Jack Sparrow lovers for the 3D premier of the Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides trailer.

Director Rob Marshall himself was there to introduce the trailer and speak to the press about the upcoming fourth installation in the Pirates Of The Caribbean franchise.

For all the details on the casting, locations, character arcs, and plot details for On Stranger Tides, make sure to check out our interview with Rob Marshall.

Two lucky Screen Rant scalawags, I mean readers, were representing at the event. They won their loot through our “Pirates Fans First!” contest and giveaway. The event included the opportunity to be one of the very first to see the 3D trailer, eat breakfast on Disney, grab a photo with some Pirates paraphernalia, and spend the day riding the rides, and raiding the booty at Disneyland.

Not a bad haul for sending in an email and comment.

We had the chance to chat with them, as well as several other buccaneers, about Pirates, the event, and their response to the trailer. We also had a bit of fun in the editing with our friend George Roush, aka elquapo, of AMC and Latino Review — see if you can spot him in the video.

For a lighthearted and silly “inside look” at the winsome wenches (very nice ladies) and wine (coffee, tea, and juice) that were enjoyed at the event, click here to watch our video Pirates Fans First!.

Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides just finished shooting at exotic locations all around the world and is currently in post-production – scheduled for release in 2011.
