Google Music Search Launches In India – No More Guruji?

Music search was made mainstream by the Indian search engine Guruji.com when it aggregated music across various sources. The difference in Google’s model is that the music is completely legal unlike guruji which ran into trouble.

Google’s attempt is to promote buying legal music by making legal music more accessible.

Challenge for Google Music

Though legal approach is great inorder to be a comprehensive search engine for music Google would need to get several digital rights which wont be simple to acquire. Also a non comprehensive search engine will disappoint users as they wont be able to find their favorite tracks. If you enjoyed this post, make sure you subscribe to our RSS Feed OR Email Alerts!
